UFO's On Texada

This may sound alarming to some people. However my UFO's are not the ones that fly through a starlit sky, no, they are far more dangerous. They are the dreaded UNFINISHED OBJECTS that plague almost all crafty people. I am making a list of unfinished quilting, knitting, embroidery and crochet projects, for a start, in hopes that it will shame me into finishing some of them. I have been crafting homemade items since I was a small child. I do periodically finish things, but only, it seems, if they are gifts with a deadline attached to them. If they are for myself, or without a firm deadline, they languish in bins and baskets, occasionally squeaking pitifully in an attempt to get my attention. Over the next few days I will ferret these treasures out of their hiding spots, photograph them and try to find the missing patterns, threads and other supplies that go with said projects. Then I will, horrors, commit to actually working on them and completing them over the next year.  Be prepared. The list is going to astonish even those who know me well. Hopefully my husband does not get a peek at it, as he would be even more horrified than most. We won't even begin to discuss my stash.

  1. Oh brave woman! But we only need to actually complete one for our summer challenge (if you need an excuse). As for stash, who can be creative without one? And there's also helping out needy friends. (You've saved me more than once!) Good reasons for stash.
